Perryville Storybook Trail
May 30 - July 23
Perry County Memorial Hospital and the Perryville Parks and Recreation Department are inviting everyone to come out and read this summer!
The Perryville Storybook Trail is a fantastic way to engage families in reading by combining the joys of reading children's books aloud with all the benefits of walking together outdoors. It is a fun, educational activity that places the pages from a children's story book along the City Park trail. The Perryville Storybook Trail helps build a child's interest in reading while encouraging healthy outdoor activity for all ages.
The first storybook will begin on Tuesday, May 30 on the Bike/Hike Trail at the City Park. The program will last for eight weeks with a new storybook beginning each Monday. This is a FREE event for everyone.
Thank you to all of our sponsors! This program would not be possible without the help of Perry County Memorial Hospital, Coldwell Banker Professional Associates, Main Street Signs and Riverside Regional Library.
For more information about the Perryville Storybook Trail please contact the Perry Park Center at (573) 547-7275.
